What size rod do I need?

Most rods are mounted 4–6" wider than the window on each side, so curtains can open fully without blocking light. See our Curtain Measuring Guide, or email us for help.

Can I mount it on the ceiling?

Some collections, like Veltrano, include brackets for both wall and ceiling mounting. Check the product details or email us before you order.

What’s included in each set?

Each collection lists its parts in the product details, such as rod, brackets, rings or carriers, and finials or end caps.

How long does it take to get my hardware?

Hardware is made to order and ships in 4–5 weeks, with tracking included.

Can I return my order?

Hardware is cut to order and final sale. Defects are covered by our one-year warranty. Email info@fabricworksny.comwith questions before ordering.

Return & Refund Policy

Returns & Exchanges
Every shade, curtain, and hardware piece we sell is custom-made to your exact measurements and fabric selection, so all orders are FINAL SALE. You have 24 hours after placing your order to request a change or cancellation.

Swatch orders are not eligible for cancellation under this 24-hour window.

We strongly recommend ordering fabric swatches before placing a full order, so you can see the true color, texture, and light-filtering in your own space before committing.

One-Year Warranty
Every order is covered by a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects and workroom errors, starting on your delivery date.

If you believe your shade, curtain, or hardware has a defect, contact us with clear photos of the issue. Once we've reviewed it, we'll determine the right resolution, which may include a repair or a full replacement.

This warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper care or installation, misuse, fading or discoloration from sunlight or environmental exposure, or any changes made to the product after it's delivered.

Exchanges
If you're unhappy with your fabric or color choice, you can exchange the unused item for store credit equal to 50% of your original order value. Exchange requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.

You're responsible for shipping the unused item back to us, along with any associated return shipping costs.

This exchange offer doesn't apply to hardware or made-to-order trim add-ons.

Altered Products
We're not responsible for any shade, curtain, or hardware piece that's been cut, sewn, trimmed, resized, installed incorrectly, or otherwise modified after delivery.

Altered products aren't eligible for repair, replacement, exchange, or warranty coverage.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
